Personal Information Protection Policy

NEC Capital Solutions Limited (hereinafter "NECAP") intends to contribute to the realization of a more prosperous society by providing solutions (Solutions) for various kinds of issues regarding the managerial resources (capital) of our customers.　Under these circumstances, NECAP believes that it is our social responsibility to properly protect personal information of NECAP’s customers (including personal numbers, the same hereafter). NECAP has established the following "Personal Information Protection Policy". NECAP will implement and maintain it.

  1. When collecting personal information from the customers, NECAP will identify the purpose of use and take appropriate measures to ensure that the use is not beyond the scope necessary for achieving NECAP’s objectives.

  2. In order to prevent leakage, loss, or damage to personal information entrusted from the customers, NECAP will conduct educational and awareness-raising activities for employees. In addition, NECAP will take all possible measures, including information security measures, and implement appropriate management in accordance with the Japanese Industrial Standards JIS Q 15001, "Management System for Protection of Personal Information-Requirements."

  3. NECAP will comply with laws and other norms related to the protection of personal information in handling of personal information, and implement handling appropriately in accordance with NECAP’s internal rules. Also, NECAP will make the internal rules conform to applicable laws, regulations and other norms.

  4. If a customer requests to disclose or correct any personal information about customer himself or herself, NECAP will respond appropriately after identifying him or her in accordance with the internal rules.

  5. NECAP will establish a point of contact for complaints and/or consultations regarding personal information protection policy, handling of personal information and the personal information management system, and respond to them appropriately.

  6. NECAP will revise contents of the personal information management system and continue to make every effort to improve the protection of personal information so that it can always be implemented appropriately.
